All
programs listed above are collegiate, and all except one-year certificate
programs lead to an Associate in Arts, Applied Science, Applied Business
or Technical Studies degrees. The career-oriented programs are designed
to prepare students for entrance into specific careers after two years
of study. The transfer programs are designed to provide the first two
years of a baccalaureate program. Although both types of academic programs
may be used for transfer purposes, some courses offered as part of the
career-oriented programs may not apply to a baccalaureate program. Students
must meet the entrance requirements of the college to which they intend
to transfer.
Raymond
Walters College has transfer agreements with several other colleges, making
it easier for a student to transfer to a four-year program upon completion
of a two-year transfer-oriented program. Acceptance and evaluation of
credits are determined by the colleges to which students plan to transfer.
Any student who plans to transfer to another college or university should
consult with his or her academic adviser.
