Student
Life is the place to go to get information about getting involved
in campus life and making the most of your college experience
at RWC. It provides programming and support services to student
groups and the entire student body. Activities include the
annual Make a Difference Day project, Fall Carnival
and Organization Fair, Summer Fling, Student Awards Ceremony,
and intramural teams which participate in Blue Ash Recreation
Center leagues, just to name a few. Student Life also processes
student identification cards (I.D.s).
Student
Government is run with the guidance of Student Life. Students
elected to serve on Student Government represent the entire
student body at RWC by serving on college committees, passing
bills and policies, and communicating student concerns to
college administrators. If you would like to speak to a
Student Government officer, or become a government representative,
stop by the Student Life Office.
If
you want to form a group or club, you can get organizational
guidelines from the student life coordinator. If you want
to assume leadership for any organization, you must be in
good academic standing with the college, which means students
who are on academic suspension or probation are not eligible.
Students interested in joining activities or starting clubs
should contact Student Life at (513)745-5769.
If
you want to post fliers, posters, or displays for any reason,
you must see the associate dean of student affairs for a
complete list of current RWC posting guidelines. All items
must be stamped and dated in the Student Affairs office.
If
you want to conduct on-campus fund raising, regardless of
means and purpose, you must consult the student life coordinator
for approval and to ensure compliance with university policy.
Do
I need a student I.D.?
If
you attend orientation, you should have an identification
card made then. You can also call 745-5773 or stop by Student
Life to find out times and dates when I.D. cards are made.
All students need an I.D. card for identification at university
libraries, University Health Services, student functions,
athletic events, and more. Lost I.D.s are returned to Student
Life for students to pick up.

Are
there fellow students who can help me?
Yes. Student Life is also home to the Peer Support and Resource
Center. The peer center is staffed by a select group of
students who conduct new student orientations and serve
as a resource for RWC and Clifton campus services. If you
need assistance finding a room, learning about on-campus
activities, or finding a particular service at the college,
stop by the center, which is staffed by Peer Leaders Monday
through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Fridays
from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. as class schedules permit.
Where
can I go to eat/relax/work-out?
Vending machines are located in
all campus buildings and Montague's Deli and Pizza, located on the first
floor of Muntz Hall, offers burgers, soup, snacks and more.
Additonally, a meal discount card for local, off-campus
restaurants is also available to students. Call Student
Life for more details.
A
television, pool table, and ping-pong table, and a quiet
study area are located in the Flory Center. Take your student
I.D. to Student Life to check out equipment to use in the
student lounge and at the volleyball and basketball courts
behind Muntz Hall. Watch for postings about intramural softball,
volleyball, basketball, and golf outings throughout the
year. A small fitness room is also located in Flory Center
room 16. Call Student Life for details.
The Raymond Walters campus also has numerous benches and
picnic tables for studying or just relaxing.
Where
can I go to get UC Bearcat basketball tickets?
RWC is allocated a limited number of UC Bearcat basketball
tickets for students for each home (non-tournament) game.
Contact the Peer Center at (513)745-5773 for current student
ticket distribution practices and policies.
