As a satellite office of the University Of Cincinnati Police, our Police/Security Officers maintain a continuous patrol of RWC buildings, grounds, and parking areas to ensure a safe and secure environment on campus. Officers also respond when there are emergencies on campus, such as fires or severe weather.

Fire
If you see a fire, you should pull the nearest fire alarm and immediately leave the building or if you are physically unable, respond to an Area Of Assistance and press the call box button.

Severe Weather
Listen for a tornado warning of three short blasts on a horn. At that time proceed to the nearest Tornado Safe Spots, designated by a red and grey sticker on the wall. They are in areas such as interior stairwells, interior classrooms, offices, and restrooms. DO NOT FIND SHELTER IN ROOMS WITH WINDOWS!

Life Threatening Emergency
If you have or come across someone with a life threatening emergency, please dial 911 on any campus phone or pick up a help phone and give the emergency dispatcher all pertinent information. Stay on the line and answer all the dispatchers questions this will allow the dispatcher to get help to you sooner .

You can contact an officer when ever needed by calling (513)556-1111 from an office telephone or help phone. An officer will respond with assistance. Either in an emergency or for other assistance such as, vehicle unlocks, jump starts, or an escort to your car.

All University Officers have completed the American Red Cross First Aid course and C.P.R. training.

This department also operates the college's Lost & Found and has first aid supplies available in their office.
