provides training in animal husbandry and restraint, nursing,
surgical preparation and techniques, drug administration,
anesthesia, anatomy, laboratory techniques and radiography.
Preceptorships at various private practices and research
institutions provide valuable on-the-job training.
Opportunities
for employment in veterinary technology are good and are
continually improving. Changes in state and government legislation
concerning the veterinary profession have opened the door
for highly qualified registered veterinary technicians to
assist veterinarians in many aspects of their work.

Raymond Walters College Veterinary Technology Program is
fully accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association
and, as a graduate, you are eligible for registration in
the State of Ohio and other reciprocal states.
