The Media Services
Center provides a broad range of media support services for the
college community. In conjunction with the RWC
Library, the center maintains a collection of media resource
materials for use in the classroom, at college events, and on library
reserve. Many of the media items may be checked out by the students
through the library circulation desk. The Media Services Center
also produces videotapes, CD-ROMs, World Wide Web resources and
other instructional materials, including many projects with student
crews under faculty or staff supervision.
In addition, the center administers the Electronic
Media Technology degree and certificate programs, and teaches
classes in video, web design, audio, photography, multimedia production,
and film studies. The center also organizes an extensive workshop
series for RWC students, including live satellite seminars with
Hollywood professionals.
