The Dental Hygiene Program at Raymond Walters College was
established in 1967. This accredited two-year program leads
to an Associate of Applied Science Degree. Students are
guided in the development of knowledge, skills, and attitudes
needed for positions of responsibility in the oral health
care system through laboratory, clinical, and class room
experiences.
In
1999, a new state of the art dental hygiene clinic was opened
to the public in the college's Science and Allied Health
Building. The nationally recognized faculty have received
graduate degrees in addition to having extensive experience
in the field.
Historically,
nearly 100% of our graduates successfully complete licensing
examinations and easily acquire employment.
