About the Program
The Medical Front Office Technology program is a one-year certificate program designed to designed to prepare you to manage the front office of a medical office or hospital. You learn to process insurance forms, answer the telephone, greet visitors, schedule tests, and interact with patients and medical professionals. Emphasis is placed on medical terminology and anatomy, front office management, and word processing.

Career Opportunities
Rapid advancement in technology has greatly affected today's office environment, and RWC's Department of Office Administration has developed this program to train you to work in the medical atmosphere. br>
With the growing number of employment opportunities available in the medical field, physicians and hospital personnel have indicated a need for trained individuals to handle their front office.

Admission Requirements
You may enroll in Raymond Walters College if you graduated from an accredited high school or preparatory school, or have a GED certificate (minimum composite score of 45). The college's enrolling admission policy allows you to start any quarter: autumn, winter, spring, or summer.

High school students who are considering RWC should take either the SAT or ACT college entrance examination for use in guidance and counseling. All students entering a degree program must also take the college's placement test prior to registering for classes. This test is given on the RWC campus.
