Online Tests


Please read all of the instructions on this page before you begin working!

Unless otherwise specified, your quizzes and exams will be completed online. Please make sure to read the information provided here before you try to use software to take a quiz or exam. 

You can take the quizzes an unlimited number of times at your convenience. However, the final exam can only be taken once and must be taken during the timeframe specified in class.

 

Accessing the Testing Software

  1. Find an open computer in one of the RWC labs.

  2. Open My Computer.

  3. Open Drive S.

  4. Open the Cheatham folder.

  5. Open the Exams folder.

  6. Launch ExamView Player (this is the testing software).

When ExamView Player is up and running, you're ready to take a quiz or exam.

 

 

Taking a Quiz

  1. Once ExamView Player is up and running, you'll see an Online Test Registration screen that asks for your name and ID. If you don't see the registration screen, click in the center of the testing software opening screen to force the registration screen to appear.

  2. Enter your name and ID.

  3. When your name and ID are entered correctly, click the Next button.

  4. Choose the quiz you want to take from the list provided.

    • The prefix before each quiz indicates the class for which the quiz is intended.

      • AIS — Accounting Information Systems

      • BIS — Business Information Systems

      • CBA — The Computer: Business Applications

      • EC1 — E-commerce I

      • EC2 — E-commerce II

  5. Click the Next button.

  6. Review the summary information. If any of the information is incorrect, click the Back button until you reach the screen where the incorrect information appears. Correct the information, and then click the Next button until the summary information appears again.

  7. At this point, you can do one of two things:

    • Click the Start button to begin taking the quiz. You can take a quiz as many times as you like. 

    • Click the Exit button to exit the testing software.

  8. If you clicked the Start button in step 8, the first question of the exam will appear on your screen.

    • Read each question carefully, and then click the appropriate radio button to indicate your answer.

    • You can move among the questions and change your answers as many times as you like.

    • You can use the Check Answer button for immediate feedback regarding your answer to a specific question.

    • If you need help using the software, use the Help information provided with ExamView Player. (To access the Help information, just click the Help button at the bottom of the screen.)

  9. When you are finished with the quiz, click the End button. You will be given one last chance to change your mind. 

    • If you really want to end the quiz, click the Yes button.

    • To return to the quiz, click the No button.

  10. When you end the quiz, your quiz grade will appear on the screen. You will also see the all of the quiz questions and answers. A checkmark will appear next to questions you answered correctly, while an "x" will appear next to questions you answered incorrectly.

    • If you want to print the quiz questions and your answers, click the Print button.

  11. Click the Exit button to exit the ExamView Player software.

 

 

Taking a Final Exam

  1. Once ExamView Player is up and running, you'll see an Online Test Registration screen that asks for your name and ID. If you don't see the registration screen, click in the center of the testing software opening screen to force the registration screen to appear.

  2. Enter your name and ID.

    • Enter your first and last name.

    • Use your social security number as your ID. 

  3. When your name and ID are entered correctly, click the Next button.

  4. You will be given instructions in class regarding the folder to access for the exam. When you are in the correct folder, choose the exam you want to take from the list provided.

  5. Click the Next button.

  6. Enter the password for the exam.

    • The password for the final exam will be announced in class on the day you take your exam.

  7. Review the summary information. If any of the information is incorrect, click the Back button until you reach the screen where the incorrect information appears. Correct the information, and then click the Next button until the summary information appears again.

  8. Important! At this point, you can do one of two things:

    • Click the Start button to begin taking the exam. Once you click Start when taking a final exam, you must take the entire exam. You will not be given an opportunity to take the exam a second time.

    • Click the Exit button to exit the testing software. If you exit the software, you can take the exam at a later time (as long as it is within the timeframe specified in class).

  9. If you clicked the Start button in step 8, the first question of the exam will appear on your screen.

    • Read each question carefully, and then click the appropriate radio button to indicate your answer.

    • You can move among the questions and change your answers as many times as you like.

  10. When you are finished with the exam, click the end button. You will be given one last chance to change your mind. 

    • If you really want to end the exam, click the Yes button. Important! Once you click the Yes button, you cannot make any changes to the exam.

    • To return to the exam, click the No button.

  11. When you end the exam, your exam grade will appear on the screen. 

    • If you want to print your score for the final exam, click the Print button.

  12. Click the Exit button to exit the ExamView Player software.
