JAN 96 - CURRENT: ROTEX INC.

Network/Data Base Administrator. Responsible for all PC/Network/Mainframe hardware and software infrastructures. System administrator of RS6000 running AIX 4.1.2, Sun Ultra5 running Solaris 2.5, Windows NT 4.0 Server and Windows 95 peer-peer 10BT network. Established and maintain Exchange Server 5.0 and MSMail post offices. Designed and implemented a peer-to-peer Windows 95 network throughout the facility, utilizing BayNetworks Hubs, a Fiber Optics backbone and 10BT cat5 wire. Moved a Sun based Cad System from thick-net to the same network. Responsible for internet connection to and outside ISP.

JUN 90 - JUL 93: William M. Mercer, Inc..

Office Technology Coordinator. Duties included instruction, consultation, budgeting, inventory control, purchasing, and help desk functions related to operations of a Novell 386 network and Unisys mainframe. Directed an office technology enhancement from 8 standalone PCs to a Novell network of 65 PCs. Participated on the corporations national computer security advisory committee. Administered a cc:Mail post office connected to a WAN, that also served as a data transfer medium between national offices. Introduced and implemented remote cc:Mail dial-in supporting clients and employees, and Network remote dial-in capability for employees utilizing PC Anywhere. Installed client Dial-up frame-relay connections to corporate 401-K plan server.

JUN 85 - MAY 90: Montcalm Community College.

Full time tenured faculty teaching data processing courses

Co-designed, implemented and supervised 4 teaching/labs, utilized LanLite to coordinate and monitor student PC's with instructors station.
