| THE COMMUNICATION DESIGN PROGRAM (CDP) is a professional degree program for students seeking a career in today’s exciting art field, either as print or web designers and illustrators. CDP is based on the philosophy that both design skills and technical skills are essential components of a successful communication designer’s education. Design education encompasses the creation of ideas; technical-skills education focuses on the implementation of those ideas for computer and traditional art production. In addition, the program includes a broad liberal arts foundation to prepare students for the diversity and challenges of the current professional market. A CD professional certificate is available for students with baccalaureate degrees. |
