Montre VanAken, chief radiation therapist at University Hospital for five years, now practices medical dosimetry, or radiation planning, for Medical Radiologic Physics Group. One of the first local therapists to be certified in medical dosimetry, Ms. VanAken has presented at local, national, and international conferences. A 1975 RWC graduate, Ms. VanAken draws on personal experience as a cancer survivor in her work.
