ARTivities for parents and children (ages 7-12) are hands on workshops held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the UC Education Center at Blue Ash Elementary next door to Raymond Walters College, 9555 Plainfield Road, Blue Ash, OH 45236.

Space Painter's Juggling Company

Professional juggle Tom Sparough, the Space Painter, will demonstrate and teach all ages juggling skills in this fast-paced, hand-on session. Participants will start their learning with the easiest of all juggling objects, the scarf. From there, bean bags will be added. Balancing tricks will also be included.

It’s no slight of hand- Dr. Smart’s magic will leave you hoping for more! Be entertained by one of the most prolific performers in the history of magic. But there’s more to this performance than magical feats. Attendees will also get to try their hand at several illusions while practicing their tricks. It’s magical fun as each participant will receive some supplies to take home with them.

Mr. Ollie demonstrates how the students can create their own drawings, not just copy famous characters that have already been done. He uses shapes to create. Mr. Ollie will do a demonstration for the group so they will know the process but every participant’s drawing will look a little different.
