Distinguished Alums

2009 Distinguished Alumni Honored

For Making A Difference, Michael Carr and Rebecca Lee Selected

For the college, one of the most rewarding honors to bestow is the annual Distinguished Alunni Awards. The event, held this year in late April, is a time to see how our students flourish after they leave the college, and, as Interim Dean Don O'Meara shared, "Hearing their unique stories serves as such a powerful reminder of the mission we have here at Raymond Walters College. For many, RWC is the first building block in the foundation upon which they build their success."

This year, two alums – Michael Carr and Rebecca Lee – were selected based on their extraordinary achievements. In his comments, O'Meara noted that both are "some of the finest professionals in their chosen fields,k and who have given selflessly to help others."
